Tyson Todd Meade (born 1962) is best known as the singer and principal songwriter for Norman, Oklahoma-based alternative rock groups Defenestration and the Chainsaw Kittens.[1] Meade's creative career has also included the roles of writer and disc jockey.[2]

Born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Meade most recently resided in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, where he taught English.[1][2]
